Yallingup and Dunsborough

We had decided to stay at the Peppermint Caravan Park which is situated halfway between Busselton and Dunsborough in the south west corner of WA.
We were setting up the caravan on the site when these two strangers came to visit.  We had no food to offer so they decided not to hang out with us.

At first I thought this was just a unique rock formation but when we looked closer it is actually a mold.  If you look at the tail you can see that it is broken and the shape is hollow.

The area ranges from lowland swamps and coastal plains to green canopied hills with great views. This lookout is overlooking Geographe Bay.

Southern WA take advantage of the abundant water supply and utilise it to create scenic lakes within their suburban areas.

I liked this hence its inclusion.

Yallingup Beach about 20 minutes down the road from where we were staying.

Waves! Sort of. This is supposed to be a major surf beach....weather witch strikes again!
I like this picture.
