Wyndam and a commercial Croc Farm

Wyndam is mostly saltpan with a hot, dry atmosphere. Mainly a port town it is dusty and the main afterwork occupation is drinking. Lots of nothing!  However we went up to the Five River Lookout later that day and found out what would inspire people to live here other than to work.

There was a film crew in Wyndam when we visited.  They are filming an indigenous film Satellite Boy.

The Croc Farm

Smile for the camera!
They had some of the fattest and largest crocs in Australia!

Why do you think this fella is smiling?

These stainless steel bells are used when they are collecting the croc eggs for the nursery. Check out the tooth puncture marks!

Don't mess with the crocs! Or Else!

 Handbag material?

Toby and MB get away from that croc!
